Microblading

When you are choosing someone to Microblade your brows, you want the very best you can get.
The PhiAcademy is number one in the world and... produces extremely highly trained therapists.
Certificates are only provided when each student had completed intensive training followed by coursework and case studies which takes months of hard work.
Unfortunately not all training is the same. It is very important to check the certificate/qualification your chosen therapist holds. Unfortunately there are 2 day courses out there that offer a "Certificate on Completion". This means that after 2 days and 1 practical assessment, this therapist has a certificate and can work on clients. Ask your therapist for course details and look online if you have any doubts.

What is Micro-blading?
- Is it painful? No. While there is some discomfort associated with semi-permanent make up, most people would not classify it as pain. New topical anaesthetics are available to us that numb the area locally and I also use a lidocaine based anaesthetic during the treatment too. It’s very common to hear from clients that it wasn't as painful as they anticipated.
How long does the procedure take?
Allow 2-3 hours for the procedure. I will spend most of the time analyzing your features and designing the best shape to complement your facial morphology. Your input is greatly valued at this stage, as you are most comfortable with your face. Once the shape and colours have been agreed upon, the tattoo process takes about 45 minutes to an hour. What can I expect the day of the procedure?
First, your features will be carefully analyzed. Sometimes, our own brows are not perfect and cause us to look older or tired. Sometimes, our topical make up ages us. I will make recommendations on shape, design and colour according to your individual needs. Once the design has been agreed upon, your cosmetic tattoo will be applied. There may be some swelling and redness following the procedure. Your tattoo will appear darker initially, but the colour will soften within a few days. I will send you home with everything you need to care for your new brows.
How do you choose designs and colours?
Every face is different and I take great effort to ensure the colour and shape is just right for you. Designs are chosen to maximize the potential of your own face. Making a subtle change in the placement of the arch or elongating the brow itself can make an enormous difference in how you look. This is the most time consuming part of the procedure as well as the most important. It is also the part of the treatment where it is vital to get involved. You know how you want to look, and while I can make suggestions the final decision it yours. We will not do anything until you are completely happy.
